Product Description
The Palm Tungsten W, is designed as a combination
Palm Pilot/Cell Phone. As a cell phone, the Tungsten W is a bit lacking.
but as a Palm Pilot, the Tungsten W is SUPER. The Tungsten W has a
brilliant high resolution color screen, built-in keyboard, and runs
Palm OS 4. With a slight modification (remove the antenna),
the Tungsten W will work with both the TekInd Sled Reader and BlueTooth
SDIO Expansion Card. This makes the Tungsten W a versatile color palm,
ideal for collecting production CowCalf data in the field.
It features a new high-resolution 320x320 color
screen, a built-in keyboard, a 5-way navigator button for one handed
access to information, dual expansion capabilities and all the tools
you need to stay productive.
We recommend that you buy the Tungsten W for its
Palm features, and not as a cell phone. The cell phone capabilities
only work with AT&T service, which has limited service to most
areas.

Product Description
With its elegant, brushed-aluminum case, the M505's
case is much more durable then the M125, M130 or I705 (that have
plastic cases). Inside is a 33MHz Dragonball VZ processor, the same
processor that is in the M125, M130 and I705.
Along the top of the m505, there's a slot that accepts either MultiMedia
Cards or Secure Digital cards. This slot can accept a Palm Blue
Tooth card so the palm can communicate with BlueTooth EID readers.
The M505 will not work with the TekInd EID Sled Reader because of
its size and shape.
The big story with the m505 is the 160-by-160-pixel, high-contrast
reflective color LCD, which supports 65,000 colors (16-bit).
Its reflective qualities allow you to view the screen in a wide
variety of lighting conditions, including bright sunlight.
The M505's color screen is much easier to see in bright sunlight
than the M130 color PDA. However, we found the display to be a little
dim under normal indoor lighting conditions, even with the backlight
turned on.

feature that can be used to view the palm in the dark. The digitizer
screen is made of plastic instead of glass. According to Palm, the

accidentally drop your Palm.
